COVID -19 – Statement – Updated March 19th

Please find attached statement that has been discussed and agreed by the Deaconate as Braintree Baptist Church’s response to the latest Government and Public Health advice regarding the COVID-19 crisis given on Monday 16 March 2020.

Corona Virus Statement 19/03/2020

As a result of this, we have decided that all Sunday services and all mid-week gatherings (including homegroups) will stop from now until further notice.

But please read the statement carefully in full as to what we are putting in place to see us through this unprecedented time.

Though this period of time brings many complexities, frustrations and fears, let us remember that in all things, Jesus is Lord.  Let us turn to our Heavenly Father in prayer for ourselves, our family and friends, our neighbours, our nation and our world. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Phillippians 4 v 6-7).

Keep in touch with one another and continue to love and care for one another as best you’re able.

Yours in Christ,

Chris Farmer

Pastor of Braintree Baptist Church
